Sinclair’s The National Desk to air on KTVL Medford

Sinclair will fill the news slots on KTVL-TV with its The National Desk newscasts.  “The National Desk, which provides real-time national and regional news from Sinclair’s television stations across the US, will air during KTVL’s regularly scheduled news time periods, with an opportunity for local news cut-ins in the newscast,” according to a statement from Sinclair.  The National Desk airs on many of the group’s television stations across the country.

CNN Live Coverage of Correspondents’ Assoc Dinner

CNN News Central anchor John Berman and CNN Congressional correspondent Jessica Dean will co-host CNN’s live coverage of The White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner on Saturday from 8 p.m. to midnight ET on CNN and CNN International.  Berman and Dean will anchor coverage from the network’s bureau in Washington, DC, as political figures, celebrities, and journalists arrive for the red carpet, as well as the White House Correspondents’ Association’s annual journalism scholarship awards, a featured performance by comedian Roy Wood, Jr., and remarks from President Biden.

HGTV show House Hunters searches Detroit

A Detroit transplant looks to buy a historic duplex that he can both live in and accommodate renters; he’s afraid of taking on big renovations and spending too much, and for his close friend and real estate agent, that could be a difficult search. The episode appears on HGTV tonight at 1030pm.

CNN Turns To Charles Barkley, Gayle King

TV personalities Gayle King and Charles Barkley will headline a new prime-time weekly CNN show, “King Charles,” debuting in the fall, the network announced. CNN chairman and CEO Chris Licht said in a statement that the show “will be an exciting new way we are delivering culturally relevant programming and unique perspectives to our audience, from two incredibly dynamic personalities.” Licht said King will continue to anchor “CBS Mornings,” and former NBA star Barkley will continue his current role at Warner Bros. Discovery Sports.

Tucker Carlson Is Leaving Fox News

Fox News said Monday that it was parting ways with Tucker Carlson.  Fox said “Fox News Media and Tucker Carlson have agreed to part ways. We thank him for his service to the network as a host and prior to that as a contributor,” it said.  His last program was on Friday, Fox said.
